Truly, the canonization of our dearest mother, foundress, protectress and model-Bonifacia, has brought us inexpressible joy and gratitude to God the giver of everything. Praise and thanksgiving to Him! Amen! Alleluia!
Realmente, la canonización de nuestra querida madres, fundadora, protectora y modelo Bonifacia, nos ha traido un gran gozo y gratitud a Dios, el dador de todo. ¡Alabanza y Acción de Gracias a él! ¡Amén!. ¡Aleluya!
We would like to share with you the highlights of our celebration before, during and after the canonization of Mo. Bonifacia with the enthusiastic and active participation of all the sisters, Lay Josephine partners and collaborators in the C-Ts, talleres centers, sheltering apostolate, dormitory and schools. They are the following:
Queremos compartir con vosotras los aspectos más destacados de nuestra celebración, antes, durante y después de la canonización de Bonifacia, con la participación entusiasta y activa de todas las hermanas, laicos josefinos y colaboradores en la Comunidad-Taller, los Talleres, centros de apostolado , residencias y colegios Son las siguientes:

1. The Vigil (Oct. 22- 5:00 -6:30 pm) in the Provincial House main Chapel. This was participated in by the SSJ sisters, novices, Lay Josephines, Talleres workers of Quezon city and Mandaluyong, some teachers and workers of Holy Family School and SSJ friends. The liturgy used was the one sent by the General commission with some modifications and translated into Tagalog. The loving gaze and presence of Bonifacia was deeply felt during the prayer-vigil and of course, the gaze and loving presence of God, too. A joyful and simple frateranal merienda followed.

La vigilia (23 de octubre de 17 a 18,30) en la capilla de la casa provincial. en ella participaron las SSJ, las novicias, laicas josefinas, rabajadoras de los talleres de Quezon City y Mandaluyong, alguns profesores y trababjadores del Colegio Holy Family y amigos de las SSJ. La liturgia empleada fue la enviada por la Comisión General, con algunas modificaciones y traducida al tagalo. La mirada amorosa y la presencia de Bonifacia se hizo sentir durante la vigilia de oración y, por supuesto, la mirada y la presencia amorosa de Dios, también. A la vigilia siguió una alegre y sencilla merienda fraternal.
2. The First Profession of Evangeline Pedregosa highlighted the morning of October 23. The powerpoint presentation about Bonifacia, her life, charism and spirituality was shown during the introduction in the mass. A lot of people joined the very meaningful and touching Eucharistic Celebration which was followed by the sumptuous meal. During the reception, Sr. Evangeline and Sr. Cathy shared their vocation story. The novices presented a short skit in order to show the life and spirit of the congregation and then all the SSJ Sisters sang Awit ng Isang Sierva.
2. La profesión de Evangeline Pedregosa destacó la mañana del 23 de octubre. Una presentación de PowerPoint sobre Bonifacia, su vida, el carisma y la espiritualidad se mostró durante la introducción de la misa. Mucha gente se unió a la tan significativa y comovedora celebración eucarística a la qu siguió una estpenda comida. Durante la recepción, Evangeline y Cathy compartieron su historia vocacional. Las novicias presentaron un sketch corto que mostraba la vida y el espíritu de la congregación y luego todas las hermanas SSJ cantaron Awit ng Isang Sierva (Canción de una sierva).
In the afternoon the Sisters watch the canonization of Mo. Bonifacia with the other two saints. The experience was wonderful. Everybody was teary-eyed.
Por la tarde las hermanas vieron la canonización de Bonifacia con los otros dos santos. La experiencia fue maravillosa. Todo el mundo estaba con los ojos llenos de lágrimas.

We are sending you the photos taken during the thanksgiving masses celebrated in the different places. Each Eucharistic Celebration has been an occasion to rejoice and celebrate the goodness of God and to thank our dearest mother, St. Bonifacia for what she had lived and bequeathed to us, Siervas de San Jose.
